A Shrug Snug is simply a crocheted spiral that starts with a chain measuring approximately 12” long. You can tunisian crochet a Shrug Snug following Ben's tutorial or use regular crochet to make your chain and work 4 double crochet stitches in each chain stitch.
Use 2 strands of your fingering weight leftovers and an I hook, a single strand of worsted weight yarn and a J hook or any combination that will give you a tight spiral. By simply inserting the Shrug Snug through one side of a shrug then back out through the other side and giving a little tug, the space in between the spirals keeps the shrug closed!
Print our PDF below on card stock and include your name and hometown on the back of the cards. Matching your Shrug Snugs to the shrugs made by other volunteers puts even more love into our donations.
